Hastelloy B3 Technical Deep-Dive

Hastelloy B-3 alloy (UNS N10675) is the successor to Hastelloy B-2. It has higher thermal stability, which facilitates easier fabrication. Due to its significantly lower carbon and silicon content, it resists the formation of grain-boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone.
